SOGGY  MOGGY  RALLY

After 26 Soggy Moggy Rallies at Wood Green Animal Shelter which have raised over £250,000 for the Shelter,  Wood Green have decided that the 2023 rally was the last one to be held there.  (Those with a long memory might remember the first Soggy Moggy at the Red House in Longstowe)

But us Tigers didn't  give up and found a better site Ramsey 1940's Camp so the Soggy Moggy could carry on. After our first rally at the new site we have received positive feedback from both rally goers and especially the volunteers that run from the site - such a change from the indifference we had from wood green in recent years. The 1940's committe were so pleased with the event I was unable to leave until I had made a booking for next year. Unfortunately our traditional date of second weekend in September was already booked and so the 29th Soggy Moggy Rally will be held on the 5-7th September 2025. 

Sticking with the fund raising nature of the Soggy Moggy, we are pleased to announce that the 28th Soggy Moggy raised over £7,000 which was shared by our selected charities:

• The Gauntlet Project

• Cambrideshire and Suffolk Blood Bikes

• Little Miriacles (Ramsey)

As with anything new, there were a few glitches that we need to resolve. The 1940s Camp committee are looking to expand the bar or add a separate real ale bar to avoid the long queues we had on Friday night. We have also taken on board the complaints that the bike show trophies not being presented after the show and will return to having winners ride into the games area to collect their trophies after the silly games.
